Product Introduction:

Carboxymethyl chitosan is a water-soluble chitosan derivative and an amphoteric polyelectrolyte, produced by introducing the hydrophilic group -CH₂COOH onto the chitosan polymer chain. Following carboxymethylation modification, chitosan exhibits enhanced water solubility, with particularly marked improvement in dissolution within neutral and alkaline solutions.
