SLM-S080 is an amino-terminated polydimethylsiloxane distinguished by its high amine reactivity and minimal yellowing propensity. Specifically engineered for personal care formulations—including shampoos, conditioners, and styling products—it forms a sleek, protective film on hair strands. This film delivers long-lasting moisture, enhances smoothness, and imparts a luxurious sensory experience, while effectively preventing color fading to preserve the vibrancy of dyed hair. Beyond its conditioning and antistatic properties, it significantly improves both wet and dry combability, and aids in repairing structurally damaged hair by replenishing lipid deficiencies and smoothing cuticle irregularities.

Applications:

Personal care and cosmetics: 

It can be used in hair styling gels, hair care essences and other products to repair damaged hair caused by perming and coloring, and reduce split ends and breakage. Polymer material modification field:

 This substance is commonly used as a modifier for materials such as polylactic acid (PLA)

Industrial field: 

It is used as high-grade lubricating oil, defoamer, demolding agent, etc. It is also used in the manufacture of sealing materials, waterproof materials and high-temperature resistant adhesives.
